Day Care @ The Montague Day Centre
Opening hours Mon - Fri, 9:00am - 4:30pm.
The Montague Centre has been operating since 1990. It is a purpose built centre that has been specifically designed to meet the physical, social and emotional needs of our dependant elderly client group and their carers. We provide twenty-five day care places each day over a five-day week, for our client group in a specified catchment area. Two specially adapted minibuses provide transport to and from the centre.
The aim of the day centre is to provide each client with a specifically designed programme of care that meets his or her physical emotional and spiritual needs and valuable respite for carers. Whilst a 2 course lunch is superbly prepared and served by our chef to provide the daily nutrition required.

What activities happen at the centre?
There is a wide range of activities going on in the centre at any one time. These range from art and craft classes, reminiscence, story telling, sing-a-longs, shopping trips, outings to events, gardening and bingo. The staff at the centre strives to encourage participation from clients in all activities according to there ability. We actively encourage clients to take up a new activity and maybe to learn a new skill like painting or crocheting.
